What Time Are We Leaving?

So on to the timeline  flight leaves San Diego at 9:15. We are checking in to fly internationally so that is arrive 3 hours early.  So Mr. Petersen who is insistent on getting to the airport early wants to take this to heart. I lobbied for 2 1/2 hours. Out of the house and in our Uber ride at 6:01am. At the gate at 6:40a

So what does Murphy have in store?   Nothing absolutely nothing.  Walk up to the counter to check in, no line. Wonderful chat with gate agent who even has the time and agrees to take our “leaving” photo.  Both bags are under weight and American says we can take 2 bags each that each can weigh up to 70 pounds. Imagine how that makes us feel.  We are truly the light packed traveler.

Time for a little snack before TSA   TSA precheck done imagine this Dan made it through no need for the strip search was even able to keep his belt on and his binder didn’t trigger secondary screening. Okay still have to get his CPap through screening. Amazing he didn’t have to empty the backpack.  Only 3 people in line with us.

So what do we do with our extra 1 3/4hours before flight time  time to find out what we forgot  Dan managed to forget to bring some sort of converted to charge his watch good news was he had the charging cable  and the converter was only $22.   Just another vacation expense and glad we didn’t have to go all over Budapest to find one

The the travel lesson learned.  Arrive early and things will go smoothly definitely an almost stress free morning if we don’t fall asleep while waiting for boarding
